This system uses a CoaXPress standard board that supports 8 channels, allowing for a maximum of 8 VGA to 5M cameras (1 lane), or up to 2 (or 4) 12 to 120M cameras (2 lanes/4 lanes), as well as various combinations of low and high pixel cameras, among other diverse connections. Depending on the number of boards and PCs, even more cameras can be connected, making it possible to utilize image processing with a large number of cameras, as well as for VR and AR data production. The VCC-25CXPHS series is a CoaXPress camera that supports shooting at 25 million pixels. Maintaining the features of traditional models such as compact size, high resolution, and long-distance transmission, it achieves a high frame rate of up to 150 fps (CXP-12, 8-bit), allowing for clear capture of fast-moving workpieces. It is well-suited for applications requiring long-distance transmission, such as appearance inspection of LCDs, substrates, and semiconductor wafers, as well as measurement, robot vision, drone mounting, and research and observation. The pixel shifting technology is a technique that moves the X/Y axes between the pixel pitches of a camera's image sensor using piezo actuators in sub-micron units. By capturing images each time it shifts, and then synthesizing them, this technology enhances resolution. With a 25M (25 million pixel) camera, it is possible to achieve a resolution equivalent to 100 million pixels with 4 shifts (2 shifts in both vertical and horizontal directions) and a resolution equivalent to 400 million pixels with 16 shifts (4 shifts in both vertical and horizontal directions).
